Human Population Biology
My research focus is on natural experimental models of disease using both field and laboratory approaches. I have conducted fieldwork in the Pacific Islands, China, and Latin America, with a laboratory focus on cellular and molecular mechanisms of neuronal degeneration and experimental modelling. My cross-disciplinary research includes epidemiology and human population biology, environmental biology and biodiversity, bionutrition, aging and genetics. |
